"Oh, for the love of the stars, what do you people have against mages? Intolerant pigheads, that's what you all are!" Alstar barked and loaded another bolt into his crossbow. "No, Henry, I don't have that spell. Just because we can do magic doesn't mean we have every single spell known to man. But, this usually works when magic doesn't." He punctuated the final sentence with another shot at the remaining crossbowman. "Suck on this, you mage-hunting scum!" DM note: soooo, action is still the same. Just different target. +3 to hit, 1d8 dmg, you know the drill.

"If you can slow him, do it!" Henry shouts as he attacks Straut. "Otherwise, we just kill this weasel first!"

Goldoth, now enlarged by Jukha's magic, swings his massive greataxe at Straut. Straut attempts to dodge it, but is still hit severly in the side by the flot of Goldoth's axe, accompanied by the sound of several ribs cracking. His face, now in a pained grimace, seems only more doggedly determined by this strike.
Paul's turn.

Feeling like this battle had taken weeks when in reality it had been going on for only a mere minute Paul even still grows tired of this and strikes with a Power Attack at the now crippled Straut hoping that his broken rips will cause him to be unable to dodge.

Paul steps up and attempts to follow up Goldoth's attack with one of his own, but barely scratches Straut.

Henry Southgard steps in and attacks Strout again. He tries to estimate how quickly the brute can cross the barn and engage the party. DM note: What's the estimate, as made by a seasoned mercenary?

Henry also follows up Goldoth's attack with a quick stab of his own with his short sword, Driving it into the flank of Straut.
Alstar's crossbow bolt flies and easily hits it's mark in the remaining crossbowman, though he is still standing.

Sera curses as the goliath of a man comes through the wall but he still carries on with his taunting threat. "Take off each finger and pop out your eyes, you'll beg for death once i'm done with you! If you throw yourself to the ground now I'll consider sparing you." He throws one last chakram and shifts forwards afterwards.

Sera's words seem to fall on deaf ears as Straut ignores the taunt directed at him. Grinning at the pain, he reaches down with his free hand to touch his belt, which glows slightly as his wounds begin closing rapidly. He then directs his full attention at Paul, actually using his free hand to knock aside Paul's parry and driving the sword deep into Paul's chest. Paul only: Take 14 damage
Will update the map when I get home.

Garuk sighs lightly as his pain recedes, then recognizes that the banging in the back of the barn has ceased. Remembering a massive crash as he was focusing on his wounds, the orc turns to view the large sapint that has now entered through his new doorway. Realizing that this brute is far stronger than he is, Garuk focuses upon himself again, this time with the intent to increase his own size to compensate against this monster. DM Note Casting Enlarge Person on self

Goldoth, hurry! I will not win this fight without you! Jukha holds his Falchion in defensive stance but holds his ground waiting for the inevitable charge. For GM: Ready action to attack the first enemy who enters a space I threaten, fighting defensively.

As Jukha prepares himself for combat and Garuk casts his spell, bathing himself in a familiar shimmering light, the combat in the hayloft continues. Jukha's summoned dog leaps again at the remaining crossbowman, tearing into the crossbowman's legs. He doesn't seem too unphased, but then falls from the top of the loft to the ground with a long screwdriver sticking out of his temple. The metal construct in the loft, searching for another target, steps forward and simply falls from the loft onto the ground level. He turns to face he brute in the back. The very same brute looks at the golem and snarls, "Mage... Steel..." He charges directly at him, swinging his massive maul in a vicious overhanded chop impacting the golem's shoulder and crumpling the metal there. The golem looks entirely unimpressed. map: [/spoiler

He takes a step to the side as he looks at Straut with a bit of care as he twirls the chakram around his finger, waiting to strike if Straut attempts to heal again. Seraphym turns and looks at the behemoth to try and gauge his next action. "Split up, if we're together like this it'll be like being stuck between the two pincers of a crab."

Having becoming intimately familiar with the sharp side of Straut's sword Paul decides it's time to back off "Cover me" Paul chokes out while holding his grievous chest wound closed with the flat of his hand. He gathers what strength remains and retreats to behind Garuk while he casts his magic. DM only. Others if you really want. Go for it. Withdraw action to this position would you kindly

Henry Southgard grins fiercely at the sound of the mage-hunter's ribs breaking. Before the man can recover, he slashes at the magic belt. DM NoteI attempt to sunder the belt. Don't make me attempt a grapple.

The sorcerer reaches for a curved blade on his belt. Taking the sickle in hand, he nods at Paul. "You'll pay for what you've done, Straut," Alstar sucks in a quick breath, then moves himself into striking distance of the mage hunter. He stops short of using the blade, though. Instead, he lets loose another blast of fiery magic, pouring in every bit of power he can muster. DM note: Alstar will step into Paul's position before he withdrew from melee. He will cast the spell to where he hit's only Straut, but I do think he get's an attack of opportunity on him :/ Using his trait bonus, so it's 3d4 fire dmg, DC: 15 reflex save. Oh, to avoid the AoO, Alstar will attempt a DC: 17 concentration check to cast without provoking the AoO from Straut, using a +5. If he fails the first check and if (when) Straut hits him, me makes another check with the same +5 mod

Henry attempts to cut Straut's belt and seems about to hit, except his sword was actually about a foot too far to the left. Alstar rushes forward to cast his spell and seems to avoid provoking any action from Straut while doing so, sending out a massive gout of flame from his palm, however Straut seems to avoid the flames entirely, whirling his cape about himself. Straut grins as a few more of his wounds begin heal from ongoing magic, "I think I need a little... space" as his glove begins to glow he slams a fist into the ground creating a massive shockwave of energy which blasts back everyone around him, including the massive Goldoth. map:

Garuk, flexing his newly enlarged muscles, looks toward the sound of the new commotion in the back of the barn. Seeing that the mage-hunter has finally been dealt a few wounds, and trusting his new companions to be able to handle him from here, the huge orc turns and rolls his great-axe ofer in his hands. Starting off with a growl that quickly becomes a roar, the cleric charges at the brutish intruder, swinging his great-axe with all his considerable might. DM Note: charging plus bonuses from size and orc-ness gives me +7 to hit for 3d6+6 damage

Jukha moves forward cautiously, moving into a flanking position opposite the golem. Feeling that he is significantly outclassed in strength the half-orc tries his best to distract and hinder the brute. Move around the brute, take care to not trigger AoO and then use aid another to give the golem +2 to hit vs the brute.

Garuk swells in size and immediately charges at the new threat, his axe leaving a bloody gash in the arm of the brute. Jukha's distracting attempts seem to be quite successful against the brute, as the golem lands a firm strike with his fist into the jaw of the man and a second blow into his chest. The brute grins disturbingly as he grips his Maul firmly and swings it in a huge circle at everyone next to him. The golem dodges backwards, out of the path swong, but Garuk and Jukha are both hit solidly by the blow. Garuk:
You take 10 damage
Jukha:
you take 10 damage

Paul takes a step back from the fight with Straut and realizes that with his wounds trying to hit the already mobile Straut will be near impossible. It may be time to switch to an easier to hit target.
Paul takes out his bow and fires on the Brute.

"One last try," Henry mutters before launching himself at Strout. He swings his sword at the belt and shouts "How many magic items can you possibly have?"
