Should we confirm if we are all Dizzy then? I can confirm that I am a Dizzy (insert role).

Well, if someone's asking about dizzy, then certainly someone has dizzy as a role modifier

And since all we have to go on is past experiences, it might make a difference later but I don't see any way in which it will help us now.

Okay; so if just for the sake of getting things moving, I find it weird that psichomancer asked this question in the thread rather than pming Dante.

The gathered group began to truly get into their discussion. However it was worth noting the Captain could no longer be found... You may now choose to to go looking for the Captain if you wish. However, you may only pick one section of the ship and only one per person. You must pm to confirm your...exploration.

Well, it looks like its time to go adventuring folks. Any volunteers?

I volunteer to search the cabin. Just let me stow this red shirt.

I suppose I can search the engineering bay. I'll PM Dante presently.

Really? For asking a simple question? I'm pretty sure deadguy was wondering the same thing. Not everyone here has played the game before. But, if I need clarification on something again, I'll just ask Dante.
And if we are confirming, I have a Dizzy role as well. Hence the question.

I'll search the engine room and I was wondering the same thing. I'll confirm dizzy as well and on day 2 we can compare what happened with our night actions and look for a commonality.

I am dizzy aswell.
I have never played one of Dante's games before, so I'm excited to see how this will turn out.

Dizzy, dizzy as an acid casualty.

I think a better question to ask at this point would be, "Does anyone not have a dizzy role?" because I do also.

Huh. Thanks for the explanation for us newbies here. So, what can we learn from dizzy roles if they don't target the correct person? Does that make anything they do null? Or is it just a chance that something will go wrong? Could you explain what dizzy before a role would mean? I find it really odd that both of you seem to not know what dizzy does then claim to be dizzy.

I completely agree with Barcaii tbh.

Why do you think the question was asked? And I'll try to keep questions to a minimum, seeing as how suspicion pops up when I ask about anything. I went to mafiascum.net and looked up "Dizzy", but dizzy wasn't one of the sanities or whatever on the site, so I asked. Why is that such a problem? Or should I PM for advice, since this might be suspicious?

But, when supplied with a role email, you are also supplied with a role description. I highly doubt Dante would send you a role that said you where dizzy then not included a descriptions of what dizzy does.

For the love of a shoggoth, here. Rot's little guide to Mafia terminology. Not a word of which elucidates what "Dizzy" is supposed to mean. I assumed that we'd find out later, but since some people here are talking like they know what it means...

I got an explanation of my role, not dizzy. I assumed it was sanity or variation of it. I came here to ask rather than PM. I don't think I'm the only one either. From what I've read here, it looks like other people got the same dizzy in front of their role and didn't get a definition as to what Dizzy meant.

I've got a dizzy role too.
my guess is that it would make investigations and such random, like you target 2 people and you get back 2 results, but you arent sure which investigation is for which person

But, when supplied with a role email, you are also supplied with a role description. I highly doubt Dante would send you a role that said you where dizzy then not included a descriptions of what dizzy does. Actually in my PM Dizzy is not really described fully, it was somewhat vague. But I asked Dante for clarification because of that and he said it works as I have posted previously in the thread.

During the one and only Dante theme'd game I played, the investigations that the town performed, and I assume everyone has an investigation of sorts, didn't actually help the town at all. This is why I'm unsure as to the usefulness of them this game.

You right, my bad, it is not fully described separately but only as part of the full role. So, if you do not know what your original role does before the dizzy modifier I guess some confusion might come from there.

So Lordy and perhaps you aren't a dizzy role. I also find it odd that Lordy is so eager to lynch someone.

I never said so, I am dizzy. I was questioning why you did not understand what a dizzy role did. I can see that I might have been a bit harsh, but really, if you understand the basic role then you should understand what dizzy does from your role mail.
As an example, lets say your role says your a dizzy cop. It would say something like "Dizzy Cop: Every night you pick two targets, and will receive the results for both of them BUT you will not know which investigation goes with whom." I think anyone who knows what a cop does can quite fast figure out what dizzy means.

But we don't know, it doesn't say anything about that. You're making assumptions based on prior knowledge. Nothing in my email gives me any clue as to what dizzy would mean. We asked a question because we feel it's important but there's nothing concrete.

I agree with Deadguy on this actually, my role also doesn't say what Dizzy actually does/means. That could mean that Barcaii is not Dizzy, and was trying to blend in. However, that reasoning is flaky at best, and isn't really enough to make me personally be suspicious of him, or Lordy for that matter.

I am also dizzy... this is going to be an interesting set of day phases. Also, what's everyone's take on investigating the ship?
Also, Dante, can we get a list of all the locations we could potentially explore? Or do we have to guess at which ones are available?

You currently have no map of the ship and have only been here for a short time. You are not aware of all the compartments of the ship.
